I've been a part-time resident of Tairua for many years – it's a destination I and my late wife loved. At the end of 2015, I moved here from Christchurch and became a permanent resident. It's worked out well – a more relaxed way of life and the change has been invigorating.

I've been working at the local rubbish dump and have got to know many of the locals. Based on this, a bit of advertising and some “word of mouth” referrals, I've been doing odd jobs for people around the town.

I now offer a complete handyman service. This includes garden and section maintenance plus minor repair and building work. I also work closely with local trades to arrange quotes for more major work and can oversee such work if required. For your holiday home I offer key holder and other services.
